What we need from you as a tenant:
- The new "Right To Rent" law came into force for the whole of England on the 1 Feb 2016. This is a new requirement for private landlords and/or their letting agent to check the immigration status of prospective tenants and lodgers before they move in, to avoid liability for a civil penalty. Tenants are now required to provide proof that they have a right to reside in England. If you hold a UK passport (current or expired) showing that you are a British Citizen or a citizen of the UK and Colonies having the "right to abode" in the UK, this is acceptable proof. If you do not have a UK passport, please contact us for a full list of alternative documents.
- 3 months bank statements.
- A professional referee ie; current or former employer, current or former landlord or other professional person you are working with. We do not accept character references or references from friends or family.
